First day

Today was the first day of our project.  Geoff Bonewald my partner for the project picked me up at 9 and we went straight to R.P Johnson's to pick up the wood.  We had met with Jason Nelson a contractor a couple weeks ago and he was able to give us some directions on how to build the base of the start house.  We were able to complete the base of the start house with the directions from Jason Nelson.  I learned that crossing layers of  wood makes the base stronger and able to withstand more wear and tear.  We worked from 9-2:30 today.  Posted at 8:50 pm
