Today was the most productive day this week. We managed to finish the rafter ties and the roofing. We used 2x4's to pull and tie the rafters on each side together which pulls the roof together to make it square. For the roofing we used 1 side rough ship lap to give it an older look. We had to measure out different pieces to stagger the roofing so that if would be more stable. Afterwards we stood inside and admired having a cover over our heads. Tomorrow we will start covering the sides up and making it look like a real covered structure.
